Davinson ‘Illusions’ EP which includes Alexander Kowalski Remix is now Out on Unrilis.
Unrilis drops a dark and hypnotic techno release from Davinson, which also features a remix by Alexander Kowalski.
Davinson is a Belgian artist who returns to Unrilis after recently featuring an EP in the label’s Rilis series. He has also featured tracks on other imprints such as Christian Smith’s Tronic.
Alexander Kowalski is a highly influential German techno artist who has been releasing his raw and analogue style for two decades on scene-leading imprints such as Mord, Suara, Be As One, UNCAGE, Soma and BPitch.
‘Illusions’ is the first of the three original tracks and it opens the release with an intense synth line and rattling percussion. Alexander Kowalski delivers a deep and dubby remix of Illusion with industrial textures and a dystopian atmosphere.
‘Reborn’ is a stripped-back track with a menacing synth line that emerges from beneath the bleeping melody and thrashing hi-hats. ‘Phase 2’ closes the release with flashes of acid and muffled vocals layered with eerie pads and a thumping kick drum.
