Francis De Simone “Whistle” EP is Now Out on Mindshake Records.

Paco Osuna’s Mindshake welcomes a four-track, upbeat, tech house EP by Francis De Simone, including three originals and one remix.

Francis De Simone is a drummer turned house music producer, and he makes his Mindshake debut following music on other prestigious record labels such as Sola, Solid Grooves, Rawthentic and Hot Creations.

An Italian artist living in Palermo, Francis De Simone is a much-hyped tech house producer who is known for his percussive tracks with infectious energy. After breaking onto the scene in 2019, he became an overnight sensation whose tracks have been a regular feature of Paco Osuna’s DJ sets.

“Whistle” opens the release with hip hop vocals layered over flowing percussion and saxophone stabs. Francis De Simone’s remix of “Color del Foco” by Gameboyz has Latin vocals and a deep bassline fused with congas and claps sequenced into fast-paced rhythms. “Funko” combines trippy vocals with invigorating percussion, and “Frank Sinatra” closes the release with hypnotic drums and sleazy vocals underpinned by a rolling bassline.
