Marck D & Buitrago out now on Loose Records

Marck D & Buitrago have worked together many times before, releasing music on imprints such as Miles From Mars, Agile Recordings, Unity Records and District Audio.

Based in Colombia, both Marck D and Buitrago are two of the most prominent talents in the country’s club scene, and are also individual artists that separately from each other have contributed to many a noteworthy imprints including the likes of Kraftek, Phobiq and Respekt.

Listing their influences as people like Len Faki, Alan Fitzpatrick and Pan-Pot, this three track EP showcases their peak time style of techno that blends dark atmosphere with sinister synths and hard-hitting percussion.

“U Know Something” is a new take on a well-known vocal re-recorded and layered with deep synth stabs and sparse atmospherics. “Interstellar” lifts the mood with melodic pads and a thundering kick drum before the contrasting moods of “Freedom” close the release.
