Filterheadz “Blackjack” EP is Now Out on Unrilis.

Filterheadz drop an epic hardgroove techno EP via the Unrilis record label, which is led by a timeless track that has similarities to their iconic classic “Sunshine.”
Hailing from Belgium, Filterheadz’s are a duo of brothers who have been releasing techno for over two decades via record labels ranging from Coyu’s Suara to Christian Smith’s Tronic. This latest release sees them return to their roots, as it combines emotive synths with the tribal rhythms of raw percussion.
“Sunrise” opens the release with high-speed drum patterns and a rising bassline that lays a foundation for sweeping pads and a hypnotic lead synth. “Blackjack” has distorted vocals and dramatic synth stabs fused with tense pads, punishing claps and high-velocity hi-hats. There is also a tension building intro mix of “Blackjack” that swaps the percussion for an electro-tinged arpeggio line.
