Lizz V “Exploration” EP is Now Out on Unrilis

Unrilis presents a hypnotic techno release by Lizz V that has analogue sounds and flowing rhythms.

Lizz V is a Dutch artist from Haarlem, and she describes her tracks as “echoes of an industrial world merge seamlessly with enchanting melodies, creating a harmonious blend of grit and grace.”

She studied at the prestigious Harlem conservatorium where she was taught music production and modular synthesis by DJ Estroe. Lizz V has already played alongside the likes of Dave Clark who has been an early supporter of her music.

The release comes via Unrilis, which is a record label originally founded by the late Rino Cerrone, as an extension of his uncompromising style, and forward-thinking approach to underground techno.

“Exploration” is the EP’s title track, and it layers high-velocity drum patterns with warping atmospherics that create a dystopian vibe. “Mechanical Madness” is second on the release with an ominous groove that has unrelenting energy. “Deep Sea Dive” closes the release with stripped back percussion forming a framework for the mesmerising melodies of modulating synths.
