Loose Records welcomes a dark and stripped back techno release by Majim Inkai, which has warping synths and shuffling rhythms.
Majim Inkai recently dropped his debut release via Loose’s sister label Unrilis when he featured as part of the imprint’s Rilis series, which has also featured artists such as A.Paul, DJ Dextro, Ritzi Lee and Samuel L Session.
He continues to showcase a dynamic style of techno that combines classic influences with modern sounds. This release fuses minimal elements with hypnotic percussion to create distinctive tracks that are tailored for the dance floor.
“Fragments” has churning synths and razor-sharp hi-hats sequenced into a swirling groove with menacing undertones. “Higher States” has fluttering synths and skipping percussionat the heart of a trippy groove with eery atmosphere. “Rising Sun” is an acid techno track with dystopian pads and vocal textures building tension in the breakdown.
