Spuri “I Still Believe” EP is Now Out on Loose Records
Loose Records continues to release hypnotic techno with deep atmosphere and intense percussion, and the record label’s new release comes from, Spuri.
Originally founded by Rino Cerrone, Loose Records is the sister label to Unrilis and its Rilis series. Founded to represent the Neapolitan club scene by showcasing local talent, Loose Records recently relaunched with a renewed focus on discovering fresh talent worldwide.
Spuri is a Brazilian artist whose dynamic style covers a wide range of genres, but when it comes to techno, he fuses high-velocity drums, jackin’ vocals, and trippy synths to create mesmerising tracks that are made for the dance floor.
“Hattori Rush” is the more aggressive of the two tracks with brutal percussion shrouded in darkness, while atmospheric textures create eerie suspense. “I Still Believe” has call-and-response vocal snippets, layered over a rolling bassline and dramatic synth bursts, which combine to deliver an upbeat slice of trippy hardgroove.
