Rafa Barrios ‘Festivus’ EP is now Out on Mindshake Records.

Paco Osuna’s record label, Mindshake, welcomes a groove-laden tech house EP by Rafa Barrios. 

Based in Spain, Rafa Barrios is known for his chunky and funky tracks on scene-leading record labels such as Saved Records, Hottrax, Kaluki Musik, Moon Harbour and Toolroom. This is his second time releasing on Mindshake and both tracks have an upbeat energy and feel-good vibe.

Rafa Barrios is a skilled DJ whose innate ability of knowing what works on the dance floor is translated into his productions and his music is regularly supported by some of the world’s most respected DJs ranging from Carl Cox to Marco Carola.

‘Festivus’ starts with horn stabs and flowing tribal percussion that form a foundation for well-known vocal samples and a spiralling synth line that ramps up the tension as the track unfolds. ‘Raveer’ is a stripped back and techy track with rave-inspired synth lines layered with a rolling bassline and hypnotic vocals.
