French Performer Thomas Evans debuts on Unrilis

Unrilis is a techno label set up by Rino Cerrone, and the new release welcomes French artist Thomas Evans who has also been a featured on imprints including Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave and Sasha Carassi’s Phobiq.

Regularly playing DJ sets in his home city of Paris, Thomas has performed alongside some of the world’s best known techno artists, and fans of his music include people such as Sam Paganini, Julian Jeweil and Spartaque.

“Relax” opens the EP with powerful chord stabs layered over thundering beat and rumbling bassline. Keeping the energy high, “Mocker” continues to build the intensity of the EP using metallic textures and dark atmospherics to devastating effect. “Don’t Stop The Spaceship” closes off the EP in style by fusing old school synths and fast-flowing percussion.
